SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 28

Congratulating Beverly Jane Van Scoy Niceler on her selection as
 West Virginia Mother of the Year, 2001.

 Whereas, Beverly Jane Van Scoy Niceler of Huntington, Cabell
 County, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from
 West Virginia University and is an educator; and
Whereas, Beverly Jane Van Scoy Niceler of Huntington, Cabell
 County, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from
 West Virginia University and is an educator; and

 Whereas, Beverly Jane Van Scoy Niceler is involved in numerous
 community-related activities, including Special Olympics and the
 Girl Scouts, where she serves as camp director and scout leader. 
 She is a parent-teacher leader and has served as homeroom mother
 for several years.  She is also actively involved in her church
 where she is president of the auxiliary and is a seminary teacher;
 and
Whereas, Beverly Jane Van Scoy Niceler is involved in numerous

 beloved husband, Peter A. Niceler, with whom she has shared the joy
 of having four children.  They are also the proud grandparents of
 three grandchildren; and

 Whereas, Beverly Jane Van Scoy Niceler will reign as Mother of
 the Year with dignity and will be an excellent role model for
 others to emulate; therefore, be it
